Hey there! My name is Venezia Garza and I am a proud Latina born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I am currently a junior majoring in Medical Anthropology with a minor in Latino Studies on the pre-medical track. After Princeton, I plan to attend medical school with goals centered around promoting health equity, literacy, and empowerment for medically marginalized patients and families as a physician. These passions drive my involvement at Princeton as a leader of two health related service oriented organizations at Princeton, Alzheimer’s Buddies and Henry J Austin Health Clinic, and as a Peer Health Advisor. Beyond academics and health related activities, I am also the President of Princeton’s premier Latin dance company, Mas Flow, and work as an Orange Key Tour Guide. When I am not in class or my extracurriculars, you can catch me grabbing boba at Junbi or studying organic chemistry in Frist. Always feel free to come say hi!
