Mathey and Rockefeller Colleges gratefully co-host the Peter S. Firestone Fund. The Firestone Fund is funded by a gift in memory of Peter S. Firestone '62, and it offers a context for students to connect through book discussions, meet authors, and participate in literary workshops. Certain events are geared specifically toward Fund or college members while others are open to any interested students of the University. Along with advising Mathey and Rocky on upgrades and maintenance of library collections and holdings, The Firestone Fund programs and activities include:

• Periodic sessions and readings throughout the year which involve related dinners, receptions, performances, and exhibits
• Group discussions
• Workshops on creative writing, editing, bookmaking, storytelling, etc.
