Real Food Co-op

The Real Food Co-op is a student-run food co-op that prepares its meals in the Edwards Hall kitchen.  We're a tight-knit group of students who love to cook and eat! If you're interested, we would love to host you for dinner some time - just reach out to one of the co-presidents. Here's a sneak peek of what you might find:

FAQ: How many meals a week does the co-op cover?
RFC provides dinner 7 days a week and brunch once a week for a total of 8 meals a week. If you miss a meal or need to cover lunch, the kitchen (with its fully-stocked fridge and extensive array of kitchen supplies) is always open for you to use, whether you're microwaving leftovers or cooking your own food.

Is real food vegetarian/vegan friendly?
Although RFC is not a vegetarian co-op, we do have vegetarian and vegan members. As a result, our meals tend to be plant-based, with at least one vegetarian/vegan-friendly dish at every meal.

How much does real food cost?
RFC is the cheapest co-op currently available! Email a co-president for more details.

What are a co-op member's responsibilities?
Every co-op member cooks once a week in a three-person cook shift. During a cook shift, you'll be responsible for preparing enough food to feed the rest of the members in the co-op. You'll spend about 2 hours cooking and 30 minutes-1 hour afterwards cleaning up the kitchen. Plus, you'll be having fun and improving your cooking skills!
